Envico Engineering Ltd is the market leader in providing GRP transformer housings to the electricity distribution networks. Envico offer the largest and most comprehensive range of GRP Transformer housings available to the market place. Established in 1975, they bring a wealth of experience and design to creating innovative GRP housing solutions.

The range of typical enclosures has emerged as a result of close co-operation between Envico engineering and end customers, where consideration has been given to modern environmental and architectural requirements, together with building standards employed to combat the ever increasing problem of vandalism.

Enclosures are manufactured to exacting standards, incorporating all the main specification requirements of these and other allied industries and are designed to satisfy architectural, engineering & planning requirements. These robust but lightweight enclosures incorporate large access doors and include high and low ventilation to disperse the heat emitted from the transformers; explosion-relieving roofs are optional.
These GRP Enclosures are independently tested by the Building Research Establishment at Cardington, Bedfordshire to ensure that they meet the required criteria.
