Explosion Relief
Where the customer believes there might be a remote chance of an explosion and/or fire as a result of failure in the equipment protected by the enclosure, then a number of options are available to contain the failure.

Envico's solution to this problem is a special design which allows the roof of the enclosure to lift when such an explosion takes place, releasing the force of the explosion safely upwards. The roof then returns to its normal position.

Envico enclosures have been comprehensively tested under the severest conditions by several leading British laboratories and have been found to satisfy all criteria. See link to video example.

Fire Retardancy and Fire Retardancy Materials

Four levels of fire retardantcy materials are available depending on the customers application. They are defined in 'Resin systems to BS 476: Part 7'.

The degree of fire retardancy in the material supplied by Envico is measured by the surface spread of flames test (British Standard 476 part 7).

These are:
General Purpose. Where no particular fire rating is required; a lower cost material is available.

Class 2. Flame spread no greater than 215 mm in the first 1 ½ minutes and an overall spread of no more than 455 mm in ten minutes.

Class 1. Flame spread no greater than 165 mm in ten minutes.

Class 0. Normal Building Regulation rating and not a British Standard Classification. It must meet Class 1 for spread of flames and also meet the fire propagation requirements of BS 476 Part 6.

Specialist Mouldings

Design
Envico design all their buildings in accordance with BS 6399, Part 2: Code of Practice for wind loadings; and, Part 3: Code of practice for imposed roof loads, resulting in a construction that will provide excellent strength and longevity of service in all conditions for many years.

We also provide a full CAD service to design your building to your exacting requirements, and if required we can superimpose your equipment drawings to visualize the layout and highlight any potential conflicts before the build.

Construction
All our buildings incorporate industry leading materials. We use only hardwood WBP (Weather and Boil Proof) ply for the walls, and combined with every building individually engineered for its location, provides a very robust construction.

Insulation
Our standard construction provides a U-value of 2.2 W/m2/°C, whilst being able to provide higher U values of 1.8 through to 0.4. We can also achieve higher values of 0.35 and 0.25 for walls and roof respectively, and even meet the 25% improvement in insulation on these values to meet new government targets for CO2 emission (2010 Target Emissions Rate).

Sound Attenuation
When you need to reduce the sound energy emitted by your equipment, Envico can offer a range of nominal attenuation levels. Our standard construction offers a nominal 24dba acoustic performance, other standard level of attenuation are: 26, 30-32, 35, 40 and 45 dBA.

HVAC
Envico will calculate the ventilation system most suited to your application. This is based on the equipment heat that requires dissipation, the desired internal operating temperature of the housing against the external ambient. Whether this be natural ventilation, forced ventilation, Air Conditioning or Air Handling system.

Electrical
As part of the Morgan GRP group Envico has access to NICEIC approved contractors, all the electrical installations are carried out in accordance with current IEE regulations BS7671:2008 and to 17th Edition Regulations. Zone 0, 1 or 2 installation’s can also be offered. Installation of customer’s equipment can also be carried out at Envico.

Steel Options
Deflection calculations are performed on every steel base in accordance with client equipment specification. A full design service is provided to ensure the customer’s equipment interfaces correctly with the base, cable and pipe apertures and corresponding gland plates can also be incorporated.

Steel platforms and staircases are designed in accordance with the following British Standards:
BS5395: Part 1, Code of Practice for the design, construction and maintenance of straight stairs and winders
BS5395: Part 3, Code of Practice for the design of industrial type stairs, permanent ladders and walkways

External Finishes

building design, CAD design, insulation, Fire Resistance, acoustic, ventilation, NICEIC approved, 12 month warranty Semi-Gloss: The Envico semi-gloss finish exhibits a smart, modern appearance. Our extensive manufacturing facilities mean we can provide building sizes to your exact requirements, in a time frame to suit the demands of your schedule.
building design, CAD design, insulation, Fire Resistance, acoustic, ventilation, NICEIC approved, 12 month warranty Textured: Envico’s budget finish provides excellent value for money with a traditional stippled appearance. Despite being a value solution, high quality materials are used in its construction to ensure longevity of service.
building design, CAD design, insulation, Fire Resistance, acoustic, ventilation, NICEIC approved, 12 month warranty Brick Effect: An excellent alternative finish when the surroundings of your new enclosure require a traditional look. With a range of different brick and pointing colours, a brick effect enclosure looks extremely effective and takes a fraction of the time to build compared with a normal brick build.
building design, CAD design, insulation, Fire Resistance, acoustic, ventilation, NICEIC approved, 12 month warranty Stone: The Envico stone finish is hand crafted to blend into your specific site requirements; this can even include replicating moss! Envicos stone finish enclosures have been used by the Environment Agency where the impact on the local surroundings has to be minimal.
building design, CAD design, insulation, Fire Resistance, acoustic, ventilation, NICEIC approved, 12 month warranty Wood Grain: Our simulated wood grain reproduced a very effective timber effect. Wood grain wall panels and doors are available in a variety of colours, or combining a timber effect door with the stone or brick finish gives a very realistic traditional finish.
